What times of the day can I access my beach hut by car?

Gates to the seafront will be open at the following times to allow vehicular access to your beach hut. Gate times are subject to change without notice.

All year

9.00am – 10.00am

April to June

5.00pm – 5.30pm

July and August

5.30pm – 6.00pm

September and October

5.00pm – 5.30pm

November to March

3.30pm – 4.00pm

When can I collect the keys for my beach hut and when do they need to be returned by?

Your beach hut keys will be available from 10.00am on the first day of your booking from the Beach Office indicated on your booking confirmation, and keys must be returned by dusk on or before the final day of your booking.

Can I sleep in my hut overnight?

Beach Huts are for daytime use only, and no over night sleeping is permitted.

What furniture is included within the hire of a beach hut?

Beach Huts are furnished with a cupboard, fixed side table, four deckchairs and a single gas ring (gas provided). Please note that no crockery or cooking utensils are provided.

How many people can use a beach hut at one time?

Use of beach huts is restricted to a maximum of six people.

A full list of seafront car parks and post codes will assist you in locating the car park which is best suited to you and your beach hut location.

Are dogs permitted in Beach Huts?

Dogs are permitted in beach huts, and on all beaches from the 1st October – 20th April. However from the 1st May – 30th September they are only permitted on dog exercise beaches.

Can I join a Beach Hut Site Waiting List?
